The 'Cloud' sub-menu located under the ‘Configure’ menu allows you to configure how your appliance interacts with the cloud storage service providers that you wish to use.

Configuring the 'Cloud' is a two-step process. The first step is to create a 'Cloud Credential'. Here the user associates a set of credentials (including access key, secret key and in certain cases, a certificate) with a cloud storage service provider. 

The next step is to create a 'Cloud Configuration'. In this step, the user specifies where the Cloud Clones and Cloud Snapshots will reside, the bandwidth allocation for the different times-of-day and the optional Data-at-Rest encryption key. Upon completion of Cloud Configuration, volumes can be created that are associated with that configuration and then assigned to initiators.
