Storage Reports

Last modified

The following Storage reports are discussed on this page:

I/O Operations per Second

The I/O operations per second report shows the host IOPS (between initiators and your appliance) and cloud IOPS (between your appliance and your cloud storage service provider) over time.  This report can be filtered to show IOPS related to a specific volume (when using the ‘Host IOPS’ subsystem) or a specific cloud account (when using the ‘Cloud IOPS’ subsystem).

I/O Latency

The I/O latency report has two subsystems: ‘Host Latency’ and ‘Cloud Latency’.  Host latency refers to the amount of read/write latency perceived by initiators, and cloud latency refers to the amount of read/write/copy/delete latency perceived by appliance as it interacts with your cloud storage services.  When viewing the cloud latency subsystem, the report also shows the number of I/Os that are waiting to be serviced by the cloud (called ‘Outstanding I/Os’).

Read/Write Bytes over Time

The bytes over time report shows the number of bytes transferred (read and write) over a period of time for the entire system, and can be filtered to a specific cloud account or volume.
