Issues Resolved in Version 1.2.1-150

The following issues have been addressed in version 1.2.1-150.





Upgraded controller fails to display StorSimple shell on serial port.


Manual Failover of Controller does not complete when there is heavy cloud traffic and high latency.


Timeout observed while creating log packages on Web UI.


Monthly schedule runs on different date when the appliance is configured in time zones ahead of GMT


Appliance chassis mid plane driver bug fixes.

Release Notes for Version 1.2.1-150

The following are the release notes for version 1.2.1-150 for the StorSimple Storage Appliance.




Comments and/or Workarounds


Changing Management IP address requires restart of active controller.

Some of the services in management need to be restarted for the new IP address to take effect. This is achieved by restarting the active controller.  Restarting of active controller should not affect the IOs significantly as the Standby controller becomes active during the restart process.


A cancelled or failed backup run will cause the snapshots and backup run to be left undeleted.

This issue can be resolved with the help of StorSimple support. Please contact StorSimple if you encounter such a scenario.  This issue will be fixed in the next release.
